Terms and Conditions
By signing this document or agreeing to our T&C’s , you are deeming you understand the terms and conditions of the
services Provided by Animal Wellness and Behaviour and the following statements.
It is important to note that training requires a lot of work at home. Our team are here to share
our knowledge and experience, and give you the tools, information, and guidance to train
your dog, but to successfully benefit from this training, you must practice at home as much as
you can! Training should be consistent, and you must be dedicated to taking time out of your
day to work with your dog. Changes may not happen overnight; every dog responds
differently to training. Having a good dog is earned! Nothing good comes easy, this is a
journey to build a better connection between you and your dog, so it is important that you as
an owner are dedicated to fulfilling the whole duration of your training program.
DOG HANDLING AND SAFETY:
Aggressive dogs will be muzzled if we believe this is the safest way to go forward with your
training to prevent risk to your dog, yourself as an owner, us as trainers and others. If our
team has requested your dog to wear a muzzle and you fail to do so, the session will not go
ahead and will be terminated and not credited in any way.
Sick or injured dogs are not to attend sessions or service and a pause on their program can be
put into action upon supplying a veterinary certificate. All dogs must be vaccinated, and by
signing this document acknowledge that it is your responsibility as an owner to stay on top of
your dog’s medical needs. Puppies under 5 months do not need to be fully vaccinated but
must be up to date with their relevant vaccinations for their age.
By signing this document, you understand that attendance either in your home or another
location including the business premises of Animal Wellness and Behaviour that at any dog
training session held by Animal Wellness and Behaviour may pose some risk to yourself,
members of your family, your guests, and your dog although all trainers uphold a high
standard of care and risk prevention.
You acknowledge that sessions with Animal Wellness and Behaviour are sometimes
interrupted by external factors that may influence a dog’s behaviour and oppose risk. By
signing this document acknowledge that these things are outside of your trainer’s control
although our trainer will take great precaution in obtaining total safety of their clientele.
It is understood that children under the age of 16 are encouraged to participate in sessions but
must be directly supervised by an adult. All children attending sessions must not disrupt
sessions are harm opposed upon children by the dog is not the fault of our staff at Animal
Wellness and Behaviour. By signing this document, you understand that you are responsible
for the behaviour and safety of any minors attending the session with you. If children under
the age of 16 are disrupting the session in a way that imposes higher risk, the session will
stop and not continue, you will not be credited the remainder of the session.
By signing this document, you understand that every dog is different, and some sessions may
not go for the full 45minutes-1hour if your dog is at capacity or it’s threshold mentally or
physically. Your trainer has the authority to end the session if they feel necessary. You will
not be credited the remaining time if your dog’s training progress or wellbeing is at risk. A
reminder that you are paying for your trainer’s knowledge, not just time, so even completing
a shorter-term session may still be beneficial if your trainer has deemed so.
MEDIA:
By signing this document, you allow Animal Wellness and Behaviour to take videos and
photos of our sessions including learnt content, images of all those that attend sessions and
your dog/s. This content is also permitted to be uploaded onto social media for the public,
future training material, company documentation and for promotional purposes.
BOOKINGS:
By signing this document, you are understanding that it is your responsibility to contact the
Animal Wellness and behaviour team to book in your sessions and/or services. It is not the
responsibility of the team to reach out to you if you forget or have not done so.
It is understood that services run by our company can book out quickly leaving limited
availability. It is our recommendation to book sessions in advance if possible. It is understood
that Animal Wellness and Behaviour cannot guarantee certain times if we fail to book within
a timely manner. Failure to contact Animal Wellness and Behaviour to book in sessions
within the designated time frame your training program has, will lead to the termination of
the enrolled program with no refund. Animal Wellness and Behaviour, have the right to
cancel your program if you are not upholding the necessary training or care requirement and
we feel your dog is not suitable for our services. If this occurs, you will be refunded 50% of
the remaining amount. By signing this document, you understand that our training programs
go further than just the physical in person session, there is a lot of planning which is covered
in the program/session cost.
By signing this document, you understand that your program will have a time limit to be
completed in. You acknowledge that you are enrolling in your program as a whole, and not
multiple individual sessions - thus each program has a deadline. If illness, injury, or other
circumstances prevent you from completing the program within the designated time frame,
authorised certification or documentation of the reason can be provided to Animal Wellness
and Behaviour to grant an extension. Deadlines are as followed: Premium Program - 6 months;
Kickstart, Puppy, Foundation Programs 12 weeks MAXIMUM.
By signing this document, you understand that upon booking a program, full payment is
required and failure to make your payments on time will result in your program being
discontinued. It is also understood that all required forms must be returned prior to your first
training session.
It is understood that in cases of extreme weather; wet weather/storms, hot weather with
temperatures 28 degrees (sometimes lower temperatures depending on your dog) and above
and other circumstances that your session may result in the session being rescheduled. This
applies to outside sessions; indoor sessions will go ahead. An extension will be added to your
program timeline in the case of session cancellations due to weather conditions.
If you wish to go ahead in poor weather conditions and your trainer has advised it is your
decision to go ahead or not, and the weather results in a portion of your session not being
completed, you will not be credited the remaining time.
It is understood that once you have signed up to train with Animal Wellness and Behaviour,
you are dedicating to a full training program provided and cost is inclusive of planning,
administration, system fees and other trainer obligations, not just the physical sessions
themselves.
REFUNDS:
By signing this document, you understand that a 50% refund on remaining sessions will be
provided only if your trainer has deemed they cannot work with you and that is their
professional decision.
No refunds will be provided if you fail to complete your program in the designated time
frame and no refund will be provide if you change your mind on wanting to continue with our
services.
By signing this document, you understand that no refunds are provided for group class or any
services unless stated otherwise.
Animal Wellness and behaviour will honour a full refund for remaining sessions if your dog
falls chronically ill or injury prevents them from training. A Veterinary certificate must be
provided stating your dog cannot train at all.
Animal Wellness and behaviour will also honour a full refund on remaining sessions if
euthanasia has been decided for your dog in agreeance with your trainer. If you have decided
to euthanise your dog without your trainer agreeing, no refund will be made.
If during your training program you decide to rehome your dog, no refund will be offered,
however the remaining sessions can be utilised with your dog’s new carer. It is your
responsibility to inform their new carer of the training commitments and tell them to get in
touch with us to update your dog’s details.
You understand that to receive a refund that documentation from an authorised person such
as vet, doctor or other professional must be submitted to Animal Wellness and Behaviour to
state that your dog is no longer fit to work with us. No certification of reasoning of wanting
to cancel the program will result in no refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
By signing this document, you understand that inability to attend a session and/or failure to
inform your trainer or Animal Wellness and Behaviour admin within 48hours of the session
will result in a $60 cancellation fee.
It is understood that if you cancel within the 48hr time period, authorised documentation such
as a vet or medical certificate for reasoning must be provided to ensure your session is not
forfeited or a cancellation fee added.
This means if you cancel within the 48hour timeframe, without providing proof of valid
authorised documentation, you will be charged at $60 cancellation fee to cover your trainer’s
cost and to reschedule your session. Alternatively if you do not want to pay the $60 you can
forfeit the session. If you do decide to reschedule, we require the $60 payment withing 72hrs,
otherwise you forfeit the session.
Last minute cancellations affect our business dramatically as we cannot fill your spot with
such short notice, and this normally means your trainer will not get paid for the lost session.
You acknowledge that upon signing up for your dogs training program, that Animal Wellness
and Behaviour have informed you of a time period that my program must be finished in.
The Following section applies to anyone booking our group class, daycare/social day or
day train service via the online booking page, if you have not signed up for a service via
the Setmore booking page, please ignore this section and it will not apply to the signing
of this document:
By booking into our services using our Setmore booking page or other, you are
acknowledging the above information, in addition to the information in this section.
Our AW&B Structured Daycare service has a 48hr cancellation window with the funds
being non-refundable, your booking will not be transferred to another day. This goes for no
shows too.
Our group classes are non-refundable after booking. If you have provided 48hrs notice your
booking can be credited to another class or service. Failure to turn up to a class, or if you
leave early will not result in a refund or rescheduling of your session.
Our AW&B Day-Trains has a 72hr cancelation window. As trainers devise plans and
risk assessments for each enrolled day train dog, you understand that much planning goes
into these services.
If your dog is struggling in an enrolled service, our trainers have the authority to end the
service with no refund provided.
All dogs attending our group services MUST be vaccinated and free of illness. Puppies under
5 months do not need to be fully vaccinated but must be up to date with their relevant
vaccinations for their age.

DAYCARE Terms and Conditions
GENERAL:
By signing this document or agreeing to our T&C’s, you are deeming you understand the terms and conditions of the services provided by Animal Wellness and Behaviour (AW&B) and the following statements.
All dogs that attend AW&B doggy daycare must wear a well fitted collar for safety and handling.
Any items that you bring in with your dog are at risk of being damaged or lost and clients understand AW&B are not responsible for covering costs associated with lost or damaged items. These items may include, but are not limited to leashes, collars, toys, etc.
Clients MUST inform AW&B staff if their dogs have allergies. AW&B do not provide food on site however owners may bring in treats for their dog to share with the pack on occasion.
HEALTH, SAFETY & HANDLING:
Female dogs on heat MUST not come to daycare for 6 weeks for their first heat, and 4 weeks for heats after their first, OR until bleeding has stopped completely. Memberships will be paused during this time however no reimbursements will be made if you fail to advise our team that your dog is on heat and cannot attend. If your dog attends daycare while on heat, they WILL be sent home and requested to be picked up immediately with no refunds provided. AW&B trust that all owners are aware of their dogs physical condition during this time and must act responsibly.
Dogs who are sick or injured upon arrival to AW&B Doggy Daycare, or identified unwell WILL be sent home with no refund or credit provided. ALL owners are expected to assess their dogs condition before bringing their dog into our facility out of basic ownership responsibility and for the safety of our pack.
Sick or injured dogs who cannot attend daycare MUST provide a veterinary certificate to be provided a credit or for their membership to be put on pause. Veterinary professionals are to include in their certificates the length of recommended recovery time so we can pause your membership accordingly. If your dog attends daycare on a casual basis, you have 6 weeks to utilise your booked service after your dogs recovery date.
All dogs MUST be vaccinated to attend our daycare service. By signing this document you acknowledge that it is your owner responsbility to stay on top of your dogs medical needs and required vaccinations. Dogs MUST have the following:
C5 or equivalent
Kennel cough
Puppies under 5 months ARE NOT required to have all vaccinations to attend during their crucial social period.
By signing this document, you acknowledge that attendance of the requested service on the premises of Animal Wellness and Behaviour may impose some risks to your dog despite Animal Wellness and Behaviour’s high standard of care and risk prevention. Animal to animal interaction and learning MAY result in injury or illness despite Animal Wellness and Behaviours best efforts to prevent all risk of harm and illness for your dog in our care. AW&B will not be held responsible or financially liable for any injury, illness or mishaps that occur to your dog in our care and owners accept this risk upon enrolling in our services.
By signing this document, you acknowledge that sessions with Animal Wellness and Behaviour may occasionally be interrupted by external factors that can influence a dog’s behavior and present certain risks. You understand that these factors are beyond the control of your trainers; however, our trainer will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all clientele. Your signature indicates your awareness of these potential interruptions and your acceptance of the associated risks.
By enrolling in AW&B services, you are acknowledging that AW&B staff will handle dogs in a manner that promotes pack safety, positive social learning, and risk prevention in all ways. This may include the use of crating or tethering as well as operant conditioning. You acknowledge that AW&B advocate for safe social learning between dogs.
MEDIA:
By signing this document, you allow Animal Wellness and Behaviour to take videos and photos of our sessions, including learned content, images of all those that attend sessions, and your dog/s. This content is also permitted to be uploaded onto social media for the public, future training material, company documentation, and for promotional purposes.
WEATHER:
By signing this document, you are aware that AW&B Daycare services can take place outdoors which means we may at times be affected by the weather. If inclement weather occurs and AW&B staff deem the circumstances unsafe, daycare visits will be postponed and memberships paused. NO refunds provided. Owners are aware that upon signing up for these services that weather may affect your booking. If AW&B decide to go ahead in weather such as light rain etc, all bookings and members are expected to attend. No refunds or credits provided.
BOOKINGS:
Upon signing up for our services, AW&B clientele understand that our staff have strict protocols in place when it comes to bookings and memberships for safe handling of LIVE animals. While we try to be as flexible as we can with our bookings, we have developed terms to keep our pack safe and to prevent risk.
Daycare payments of any kind CANNOT be credited to other services such as private training consults.
Dogs that are exhibiting hazardous, irregular, highly anxious behaviour WILL be asked to be picked up immediately. No refunds will be provided. It is of utmost importance that if you notice any irregular behaviour with your dog prior to bringing them into daycare to advise our team so we can monitor them.
CASUAL BOOKINGS:
Refunds are not provided for any casual daycare bookings.
We require a MINIMUM 48hrs notice for rescheduling your selected day - and MUST be informed prior to 5pm FRIDAY afternoon the week before for MONDAY bookings.
Failure to provide us with a minimum of 48hrs notice for cancellations will result in a forfeit of your booking.
If you are able to reschedule your booking, you have a 4 week window to utilise this booking. Failure to reschedule your booking within 4 weeks will result in a forfeit of your payment.
If your dog HAS NOT attended daycare in 8 weeks or more, they may be required another assessment - please contact our team before booking. If you fail to contact our team we have authority to cancel your booking and move it to an assessment time which must be used within 4 weeks from your original booking date.
MEMBERSHIPS:
PLATINUM memberships will be deducted as one whole payment for the 2x visits - this means that if you require to cancel ONE daycare visit, your direct debit will be paused and you will need to pay the one off visit via invoice or in store. Example: Scout comes to daycare Mondays & Thursdays but falls sick Wednesday evening and has requested a membership pause. This means that Scout’s membership will be paused ($135 payment skipped) but $85 will still need to be paid manually for his Monday Visit. Alternatively, Scout can come for a third day the following week when he has recovered, so his membership does not need to be paused. No credits provided or days held in lieu.
For all memberships - if your dog cannot attend, either your membership can be paused OR you can be credited the requested days, however these days MUST be used within 4 weeks. Example: Buddy is on a gold membership and cannot attend one week, instead of pausing his memberships, his owners have requested he comes 2x the following week to catch up. No credits provided.
Members are requested to select set days. At any time members can request to change their selected days as long as their requested day is available and not booked out, and the AW&B team deems it is safe and reasonable to do so. AW&B have the authority to decline day changes if the changes are not in the best interest of our set packs or if at capacity.
Members are allowed ONE (week) pauses on their memberships ONCE a month with no less than 48hrs notice unless authorised documentation is supplied such as a veterinary certificate. AW&B clients understand that by enrolling for a membership you are committing to a contract which requires regular visitation.
Members are required to provide 2 weeks notice for pauses on there memberships that are LONGER than 2 weeks. Memberships can be held for a total of 4 WEEKS.
If you wish to cancel your membership, our AW&B team requires 2 weeks notice OR 2 weeks worth of your selected membership payments can be paid out to immediately terminate your membership.
Failed payments will be required to be made within 48hrs. Failure to make your payments will result in a $40 fee and termination of your daycare membership. If your membership has been terminated by our team due to failure to make payments, arrears will be sent to debt collection and if you wish to re-join, you must pay a deposit of $85 to be held. This deposit will be utilised during your final daycare visit if you ever wish to cancel your membership.
SILVER members are required to select a week (GREEN OR BLUE) - Silver members are permitted to change their selected week ONLY once per month.
Bronze members have a MAXIMUM of 3 months to utilise their 4 visits.
